         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 14, 2003, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Regulatory met in a formal  
         meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Hope, at 9:03 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Hope; Jones, Elizabeth; Raymond (3). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Brown, Betty; Solis (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The subcommittee met to discuss issues relating to  
         appropriations for 2004-2005.

         At 10:00 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
