         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 12, 2003, and revised  
         February 14, 2003, the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on  
         Regulatory met in a public hearing and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Hope, at 8:10 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Hope; Brown, Betty; Raymond (3). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Jones, Elizabeth; Solis (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         At 9:45 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until 10:15 a.m., February 17, 2003. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 10:15 a.m. and was called to order  
         by the chair, Representative Hope. The roll was answered as  
         follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Hope; Brown, Betty; Raymond (3). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Jones, Elizabeth; Solis (2). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 11:03 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
