The commitee will hear invited testimony as well as public testimony
regarding (1) the Texas National Guard and (2) military veterans affairs,
in light of the of the following interim charge:

*Actively monitor agencies and programs under the comittee's oversight
jurisdiction, including the state veterans medical facilities and, upon
passage, implementation of the state veterans cemetery system.
