         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on March 28,  
         2001, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Davis, Yvonne, at 11:57 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Representative Carter moved that the March 27, 2001 minutes for  
         the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars be corrected.  
         The corrected minutes were authorized by the following record  
         vote:

                             Jones, Jesse; Keffer; King, Tracy;  
                             McClendon; Ritter; Solomons (9).  
           
         Nays:               None (0).  
           
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).  
           
         Absent:        Representatives Gutierrez; Puente  (2).  
           
         At: 12:10 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without  
         objection, the meeting adjourned subject to the call of the  
         chair.
