Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 17,
2001, the House Committee on Juvenile Justice & Family Issues
met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,
Representative Goodman, at 5:45 p.m.

The chair laid out and explained HB 1453.
Representative Nixon, Joe offered a complete committee
substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Nixon, Joe moved that HB 1453, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on
Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
