CORRECTED MINUTES
On March 14, 2001, the House Committee on Judicial Affairs
authorized the correction of the minutes for the meeting of the
House Committee on Judicial Affairs held on March 5, 2001. The
following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:
Pursuant to a notice posted on February 22, 2001, the House
Committee on Judicial Affairs met in a public hearing and was
called to order by the chair, Representative Thompson, at 2:15
p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Thompson; Hartnett; Capelo; Deshotel;
Hinojosa; Talton; Uresti (7).
Absent: Representatives Garcia; Solis, Jim (2).
A quorum was present.

1287. Rep. Uresti moved adoption of CSHB 1287. There being no
objection, CSHB 1287 was adopted.
Representative Deshotel moved that HB 1287, as substituted, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
