         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 5, 2001, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Regulatory, Subcommittee on  
         Regulatory, met in a formal meeting and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Pitts, at 12:08 p.m. 
          
         Present:  Representatives Pitts; King, Tracy; Moreno, Paul (3). 
         Absent:   Representatives Allen; Hamric (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
         The subcommittee met to discuss the 2002-2003 Budget for Article  
         VIII.

         present.) 
          
         At 1:15 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until 3:45 p.m., February 6, 2001. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 3:50 p.m. and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Pitts. The roll was answered as  
         follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Pitts; Allen; Moreno, Paul (3). 
         Absent:   Representatives Hamric; King, Tracy (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
         The subcommittee met to discuss the 2002-2003 Budget for Article  
         VIII.

         At 5:04 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
