         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 2, 2001, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Regulatory, Subcommittee on  
         Regulatory, met in a formal meeting and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Pitts, at 8:13 a.m. 
          
         Present:  Representatives Pitts; Allen; Hamric; King, Tracy (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Moreno, Paul (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The subcommittee met to discuss the 2002-2003 Budget for Article  
         VIII. 
          
         At 9:43 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until 1:30 p.m., February 5, 2001. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 1:39 p.m. and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Pitts. The roll was answered as  
         follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Pitts; Allen; Hamric; King, Tracy;  
                   Moreno, Paul (5). 
          
         Absent:   None (0). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The subcommittee met to discuss the 2002-2003 Budget for Article  
         VIII. 
          
         At 4:50 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
