         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on General Government, met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Heflin, at 5:36 p.m. 
          
         Present:  Representatives Heflin; Luna, Vilma; Pickett; Puente  
                   (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Flores (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The subcommittee met to discuss the 2002-2003 budget for  
         Articles I, VI, and VII. 
          
         At 7:09 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
