Amend SB 1156, on third reading, by adding the following
appropriately numbered section and renumbering subsequent sections
accordingly:
      SECTION ___.  Subchapter B, Chapter 32, Human Resources Code,
in amended by adding Section 32.0471 to read as follows:
      Sec.  32.0471.  FAMILY PLANNING COUNSELING SERVICES; PROVIDER
QUALIFICATIONS.  Notwithstanding Section 503.056, Occupations Code,
the department shall require that anyone who provides counseling
services related to family planning services provided under this
chapter must be:
            (1)  a licensed healthcare provider or a licensed
counseling professional; or
            (2)  under the supervision of a licensed healthcare
professional or a licensed counseling professional.
