The House Committee on General Investigating will meet to discuss
and consider invited testimony on the following charges:

1. Investigate recent actions of the State Board of Education relating
   to its management of the Permanent School Fund;
2. Review the security resources available to protect state employees
   and state buildings;
3. Investigate allegations of excessive use of crowns and other
   aggressive dental procedures by certain providers in the Medicaid
   program;
4. Review the program and processes by which disabled workers are
   afforded priority in certain state procurements, including the roles
   of the General Services Commission, the Council for Purchasing from
   People with Disabilities, and the Texas Industries for the Blind and
   Handicapped.
