and public testimony will be welcome.  Times listed below are tentative
only.


10:00am - 12:00 Noon:
Conduct a review of the home equity lending market, including lender
activities and practices, to assess the extent to which the
expectations of the 75th Legislature are being met.

12:00 Noon - 1:00pm:
Lunch break.

1:00pm - 2:00pm:
Conduct active oversight of the agencies under the committee's
jurisdiction.

2:00pm - 5:00pm:
Research the practices commonly known as "payday loans" and "sale
leasebacks" to determine the need to regulate such transactions.
