COMMITTEE: Redistricting

TIME & DATE:  1:30PM, Tuesday, May 16, 2000

PLACE: San Antonio

CHAIR: Rep. Delwin Jones

This will be a joint hearing with the Senate Committee on
Redistricting.  The hearing will be held in Ballroom C, Section 1 of
the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center at 200 East Market Street
in San Antonio, Texas.  The hearing will begin at 1:30 pm with public
testimony scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm.  The hearing will focus on
the following counties:  Aransas, Atascosa, Bandera, Bee, Bexar,
Calhoun, Comal, DeWitt, Dimmitt, Edwards, Frio, Goliad, Gonzales,
Guadalupe, Jackson, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Kinney, La Salle, Lavaca,
Live Oak, Maverick, McMullen, Medina, Real, Refugio, Uvalde, Victoria,
Wilson, and Zavala.
