         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 23, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Urban Affairs met in a formal meeting and was  
         called to order by the Chair, Representative Bill Carter at  
         2:12 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Carter; Bailey; Burnam; Clark;  
                   Ehrhardt; Hill; Hodge; Najera (8). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Edwards (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The committee discussed the interim report/charges.At 3:00 pm,  
         on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting  
         was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
