         Pursuant to a notice posted on January 25, 2000, the House  
         Committee on Transportation met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Alexander, at 9:08  
         a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Alexander; Siebert; Edwards; Hawley;  
                   Noriega (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Davis, Yvonne; Hamric; Hill; Uher (4). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The committee met to hear testimony on Transportation Committee  
         Interim Charge #3. 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         (Representative Hamric now present.) 
          
         (Representative Davis, Yvonne now present.) 
          
         At 11:12 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
