Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 11,
1999, the House Committee on Transportation met in a formal
meeting and was called to order by the Chair, Representative
Clyde Alexander at 12:26 pm.
The roll was answered as follows:

Hamric; Hawley; Hill; Uher (7).
Absent: Representatives Edwards; Noriega (2).
A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 132.
Representative Alexander moved that SB 132 be reported
favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do
pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and
Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following
vote:
Ayes: Representatives Alexander; Siebert; Davis,
Yvonne; Hamric; Hawley; Hill; Uher (7).
Nays: None (0).
Present not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Edwards; Noriega (2).

The chair laid out SB 432.
Representative Uher moved that SB 432 be reported favorably to
the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be
printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent
Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following vote:

objection, the meeting was recessed subject to the call of the
chair.
The committee reconvened at 12:33 pm and was called to order
by the chair, Representative Alexander. The roll was answered
as follows:

Absent: None (0).
A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 1220 as pending business.
Representative Uher moved that SB 1220 be reported favorably
to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and
be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent
Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
