House Committee on Rules & Resolutions

         Upon lunch recess 
         House Chamber 
          
         Pursuant to a notice posted on May 4, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Rules & Resolutions met in a formal meeting and  
         was called to order by the Chair, Representative Al Edwards at  
         12:17 p.m.. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Edwards; Chavez; Berman; Brown,  
                   Betty; Burnam; George; Moreno, Joe; Palmer; Truitt;  
                   Wise (10). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Zbranek (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Representative Wise moved to accept the list of resolutions  
         presented by Chairman Edwards for the Rules and Resolutions  
         calendar.  The motion was seconded by Representative Palmer.   
         The motion carried.   On the motion of Representative Burnam  
         and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to  
         the call of the chair.
