         Upon final recess 
         House Chamber, Desk 28 
          
         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 15,  
         1999, the House Committee on State Recreational Resources met  
         in a formal meeting and was called to order by the Chair,  
         Representative Edmund Kuempel at 12:11 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Kuempel; Cook; Davis, John; Ellis,  
                   Dan; Homer; Hope; Ritter (7). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Alexander; Crownover (2). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         HB 3079 
          
         The chair laid out HB 3079 as pending business.   
          
         The chair recognized Representative Kuempel to explain the  
         measure.   
          
         Representative Cook offered a complete committee substitute.   
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Ellis, Dan moved that HB 3079, as substituted,  
         be reported favorably to the full house with the  
         recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion  
         prevailed by the following vote:   
          
         Ayes:          Representatives Kuempel; Cook; Davis, John;  
                        Ellis, Dan; Homer; Hope; Ritter (7). 
          
         Nays:          None (0). 
          
         Present not Voting:      None (0). 
          
         Absent:        Representatives Alexander; Crownover (2). 
          
         At 12:15 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
