         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 24, 1999, the House  
         Committee on State Recreational Resources met in a public  
         hearing and was called to order by the Chair, Representative  
         Edmund Kuempel at 8:03 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Kuempel; Cook; Ellis, Dan; Homer;  
                   Hope; Ritter (6). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Alexander; Crownover; Davis, John  
                   (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Chairman Kuempel made opening remarks regarding the  
         organizational committee hearing. 
          
         (Representatives Alexander and Davis, John now present.)   
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         At 9:28 am, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
