         Pursuant to a notice posted on May 21, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Natural Resources met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the Chair, Representative David Counts, at  
         8:40 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Counts; King, Tracy; Cook; Hamric;  
                   Shields; Walker (6). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Corte; Lewis, Ron; Puente (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Edwards Aquifer Authority Oversight 
          
         The committee considered oversight of the Edwards Aquifer  
         Authority. 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         At 9:55 am, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
