Pursuant to a notice posted on March 3, 2000, the House
Committee on General Investigating met in a public hearing and
was called to order by the chair, Representative Gallego, at
2:04 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Gallego; Uher; Eiland; Keel (4).
Absent: Representative Crabb (1).
A quorum was present.
The following individuals were recognized by Chairman Gallego to
testify on the issue of security resources available to protect
state buildings and employees:

The following individual was called by Chairman Gallego to

Brian Borowski.
In accordance with House Rule 4, Section 21, Representative Keel
moved to authorize the issuance of a subpoena to compel the
attendance of Brian Borowski if Brian Borowski fails to appear
before the Committee voluntarily. Representative Crabb seconded
the motion made by Representative Keel.
The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Gallego; Uher; Crabb;
Eiland; Keel (5).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: None (0).
