         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 3, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Constitutional Revision, Select met in a public  
         hearing and was called to order by the Chair, Representative  
         Joe Driver at 1:05 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Driver; Allen; Lewis, Glenn;  
                   Solomons; Tillery (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Puente; Bailey; Dutton; Mowery (4). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Chairman Driver explained that the meeting will cover the  
         Constitutional Convention of 1974 and revision attempts in  
         1993.  
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         (Representative Puente now present.) 
          
         (Representative Dutton now present.) 
          
         (Representative Mowery now present.) 
          
         (Representative Bailey now present.) 
          
         At 2:15 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
