The House Committee on Redistricting

         Pursuant to a notice posted on September 6, 2000, the House  
         Committee on Redistricting met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Jones, Delwin, at  
         1:10 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Jones, Delwin; Glaze; Grusendorf;  
                   Pitts (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Bosse; Counts; Dunnam; Hunter;  
                   Marchant; Moreno, Paul; Wilson (7). 
          
         Public testimony was taken. 
          
         The chair accepted written statements for the Committee's  
         consideration from several persons who were not sworn witnesses. 
          
         At 2:45 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed subject to the call of the chair.
