         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 23,  
         1999, the House Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting  
         and was called to order by the Chair, Representative Barry  
         Telford at 9:33 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         The Chair recognized Rep. Cuellar who moved to set the

         the Constitutional Amendments Calendar on May 25, 1999:   
         SJR10; and for the Resolutions Calendar on May 25, 1999:   
         SCR72.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

                        Cuellar; Dutton; McCall; Siebert; Thompson (8). 
          
         Nays:          Representatives Danburg; Turner, Sylvester (2). 
          
         Present not Voting:      None (0).

         At 9:34 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
