         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 12, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Health & Human Services met  
         in a work session and was called to order by the acting chair,  
         Representative Coleman at 10:30 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Coleman; Eiland; Janek (3). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Glaze; Hartnett (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
               
         The Subcommittee discussed pending budget items. 
          
         At 12:20 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
