         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 23, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Health & Human Services met  
         in a work session and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Bob Glaze at 5:30 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   Janek (5). 
          
         Absent:   None (0). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The Subcommittee discussed pending budget items. 
          
         At 6:30 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
