         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 17, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Health & Human Services met  
         in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Bob Glaze at 8:30 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Glaze; Eiland; Janek (3). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Coleman; Hartnett (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         (Representatives Coleman and Hartnett now present.)   
          
         At 9:30 am, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until  
         11:00 am or the adjournment of the House. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 1:30 pm and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Glaze.  The roll was answered as  
         follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Glaze; Coleman; Hartnett; Janek (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Eiland (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         (Representative Eiland now present.)   
          
         At 3:25 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
