         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 10, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Health & Human Services met  
         in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Bob Glaze at 8:35 am.

         Absent:   None (0). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 9:50 am, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until  
         11:00 am or adjournment of the House. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 11:06 am and was called to order  
         by the chair, Representative Glaze.  The roll was answered as  
         follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Glaze; Coleman; Hartnett (3). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Eiland; Janek (2). 
          
         A quorum was present.
