         Pursuant to a notice posted on May 18, 2000, the House Committee  
         on Appropriations-S/C on Regulatory met in a public hearing and  
         was called to order by the chair, Representative Pitts, at 9:15  
         a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Moreno, Paul (1). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 3:00 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
