         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 12, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Regulatory met in a work  
         session and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Jim Pitts at 8:40 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Pitts; Gutierrez; Pickett (3). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives McReynolds; Moreno, Paul (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The Subcommittee discussed pending budget items. 
          
         At 9:50 asm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
