         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 4, 1999, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Regulatory met in a public  
         hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Jim Pitts at 7:03 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   Pickett (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Gutierrez (1). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 9:08 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
