         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Education met in a public  
         hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Cuellar, at 9:40 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Cuellar; Delisi; Mowery (3). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Giddings; Hochberg (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Representatives Puente and Ehrhardt also present.

         At 1:26 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
