         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Education met in a work  
         session and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Henry Cuellar at 5:01 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Absent:   Representatives Delisi; Hochberg (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The Subcommittee discussed pending budget items. 
          
         Show Representatives Delisi and Hochberg now present. 
          
         Show Representatives Olivo and Sylvester Turner present. 
          
         At 6:50 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
