The hearing will be held in the San Antonio City Council Chambers, at 114
W. Commerce Street in San Antonio, Texas.

The Committee will assess the effects of NAFTA on major industrial,
business, agricultural, and labor sectors, as well as trade.  The Committee
will also review any other positive or negative impacts, including such
areas as environmental and public safety issues, and the responses of
Texas economic sectors to changes brought about by NAFTA.

The hearing will be conducted jointly with the Senate Interim Committee on
NAFTA.  Invited and public testimony will be accepted.
