         Pursuant to suspension of Senate Rule 11.11, a meeting of the  
         Senate Committee on Administration was held on Monday,  
         February 3, 1997 in the Senate Chamber at Austin, Texas.

         The Chair called the meeting to order at 12:55 am.  There  
         being a quorum present, the following business was transacted.   
          
         Senator Harris passed the Chair to Senator Armbrister and  
         asked to be recognized.  Senator Armbrister recognized Senator  
         Harris.  Senator Harris moved to approve the General  
         Investigating  
         budget of $20,600.00.  Senator Sibley seconded the motion.   
         Motion passed 4 ayes, 0 nays. 
          
         There being no further business, at 12:59 pm Senator  
         Armbrister moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to  
         the call of the Chair.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
