         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 8, 1998, the House  
         Committee on Urban Affairs met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the Chair, Representative Fred Hill at 2:00  
         pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Hill; Burnam; Clark; Ehrhardt  (4). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Bailey; Garcia; Hodge; Shields;  
                   Wohlgemuth (5).

         At 5:55 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed subject to the call of the chair.
