         Pursuant to a notice posted on November 4, 1997, the House  
         Committee on Urban Affairs met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the Chair, Representative Fred Hill at 1:40  
         pm. 
          
         Representative Hill made introductory remarks. 
          
         Testimony was taken.   
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
         Present:  Representatives Hill; Bailey; Clark; Ehrhardt;  
                   Garcia; Hodge; Shields; Wohlgemuth (8). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Burnam (1). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         At 2:10 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
