         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 15,  
         1997, the House Committee on Urban Affairs, Subcommittee on HB  
         1561 met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the  
         Chair, Representative Ehrhardt at 12:49 pm. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Absent:   None (0).

         The chair laid out HB 1561.   
          
         The chair offered a complete committee substitute.   
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Burnam moved that HB 1561, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full committee with the  
         recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  Representative  
         Shields seconded the motion.  The motion prevailed by the  
         following vote:   
          
         Ayes:          Representatives Burnam; Ehrhardt; Shields (3). 
          
         Nays:          None (0). 
          
         Present not Voting:      None (0). 
          
         Absent:        None (0). 
          
         At 12:51 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
