Pursuant to a notice posted on March 06, 1997, the House
Committee on Urban Affairs met in a public hearing and was
called to order by the Chair, Representative Fred Hill at
4:10 pm.
The roll was answered as follows:

Ehrhardt; Garcia; Shields; Wohlgemuth (8).
Absent: Representative Hodge (1).
A quorum was present.
HB 883
The chair laid out HB 883.
Representative Hill offered a complete committee
substitute.

The chair recognized Rep. Mike Krusee to explain the
measure.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Wohlgemuth moved that CSHB 883, be reported
favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it
do pass and be printed. Representative Hodge seconded the
motion. The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Representatives Hill; Bailey; Burnam; Clark;
Ehrhardt; Garcia; Hodge; Shields; Wohlgemuth (9).
Nays: None (0).
Absent: None (0).

HB 110
The chair recognized Rep. Ehrhardt for sub committee
report on HB 110, HB 111, and HB 112.
The subcommittee report combining HB 110, HB 111 and HB 112
into a committee substitute titled CSHB 110 was laid out.
Representative Clark offered an amendment to the
substitute offered by the sub committee..
The amendment was adopted without objection.
The chair recognized Representative Helen Giddings to
explain the measure.
Representative Ehrhardt moved that CSHB 110, as amended, be
reported favorably to the full house with the
recommendation that it do pass and be printed.
Representative Garcia seconded the motion. The motion
prevailed by the following vote:

seconded the motion. The motion prevailed by the following
