House Committee on Public Safety Subcommittee on Interim Study #3 76th Legislature May 28, 1998 10:10 a.m. Capitol Extension, E2.014 Pursuant to a notice posted on May 11, 1998, the House Committee on Public Safety, Subcommittee on Interim Study #3 met in a public hearing and was called to order by the Chair, Representative Bill Carter, at 10:10 a.m. The roll was answered as follows: Present: Representatives Carter; Madden; Reyna, Elvira (3). Absent: Olivo (1) A quorum was present. The chair made a few remarks regarding Interim Charge #3 (Shooting range safety). Testimony was taken. (Representative Olivo now present.) The chair indicated that a work session would be planned for the next meeting to discuss the scope of any legislation that might result from the interim study.
