         Pursuant to a notice posted on August 31, 1998, the House  
         Committee on Public Health, Subcommittee on Indigent Health  
         Care met in a joint public hearing with the House Committee on  
         County Affairs and was called to order by the Chair,  
         Representative Coleman at 9:15 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Absent:   Representatives Hirschi; Capelo; Davila; Delisi;  
                   Janek (5).

         The committee took testimony on the following interim charge:

              Review the Indigent Health Care Act of 1985 for possible  
              updating. 
          
         At 10:30 am, upon a motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
