         Pursuant to a notice posted on July 20, 1998, the House Joint  
         Committee on TRS-Care met in a public hearing and was called  
         to order by the Chair, Representative Paul Sadler at 9:40 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   Walker; Pitts; Averitt (7) 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Capelo; Goolsby; Rangel; Cuellar (4) 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         Rep. Henry Cuellar now present. 
          
         At 11:30 am, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
