         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 07, 1997, the House 
         Committee on State, Federal & International Relations met in a 
         formal meeting and was called to order by the Chair, 
         Representative Bob Hunter at 8:05 am.
         
         The roll was answered as follows:  
         
         Present:  Representatives Hunter; Isett; Palmer; Pitts; Seaman; 
                   West, George "Buddy"; Wise (7).
         
         Absent:   Representatives Moreno; Chavez (2).
         
         A quorum was present.
         
         The Chairman discussed the interim report.
         
         At 9:05 am, on the motion of the chair and without objection, 
         the meeting was adjourned until Tuesday, February 18,1997 at 
         8:00 am.
