         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 17, 1997, the House  
         Committee on Business & Industry met in a work session and was  
         called to order by the Chair, Representative Kim Brimer at  
         8:07 am. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:   
          
        Present:   Representatives Brimer; Elkins; Janek; Solomons;  
                   Woolley (5). 
          
    Absent:        Representatives Corte; Dukes; Giddings; Rhodes;  (4). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         The committee met to discuss the proposed amendments for HB 92  
         by Brimer. 
          
         (Representative Corte now present.)   
          
         (Representatives Rhodes and Giddings now present.)   
          
         (Representative Dukes now present.)   
          
         No action was taken. 
          
         At 9:57 am, on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
