         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 14, 1997, the House 
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Health & Human Services met in 
         a public hearing and was called to order by the Chair, 
         Representative Bob Glaze at 4:45 pm.
         
         The roll was answered as follows:  
         
         Present:  Representatives Glaze; Coleman; Eiland; Mowery (4).
         
         Absent:   Representative Haggerty (1).
         
         A quorum was present.
         
         The subcommittee discussed pending issues before the 
         subcommittee.  
         
         At 7:00 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection, 
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
