         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 12, 1997, the House 
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Health & Human Services met in 
         a public hearing and was called to order by the Chair, 
         Representative Bob Glaze at 12:30 pm.
         
         The roll was answered as follows:  
         
         Present:  Representatives Glaze; Coleman; Eiland; Haggerty; 
                   Mowery (5).
         
         Absent:   None (0).
         
         A quorum was present.
         
         
         The Subcommittee discussed the agency budget requests that had 
         been presented to the subcommittee in prior public hearings.
         
         The committee stood at ease and reconvened at 2:10 pm in room 
         E2.022.
         
         At 3:00 pm, on the motion of the chair and without objection, 
         the meeting was adjourned.
