                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, The honor of becoming doting grandparents is indeed
    1-2  a special one, and for our distinguished colleague, the Honorable
    1-3  Charlie Howard, and his delighted wife, Jo, the birth of their
    1-4  first grandchild, Ashton Rivers Taylor Drenner, was a long-awaited
    1-5  and joyful event; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, Born on January 30, 1995, Ashton is the son of
    1-7  George Blair Drenner and Julie Howard Drenner, and his arrival was
    1-8  an occasion of tremendous family celebration; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Blessed with an irresistible smile and charming
   1-10  personality, this happy new addition to the Drenner family weighed
   1-11  in at five pounds, eight ounces and measured 18-1/2 inches in
   1-12  length; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Ashton faces a bright and promising future in which
   1-14  he undoubtedly will benefit from the leadership and guidance of his
   1-15  distinguished grandfather; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, It gives the members of this chamber great pleasure
   1-17  to formally announce the birth of a new citizen of the Lone Star
   1-18  State and to congratulate his parents and grandparents on this
   1-19  joyous occasion; now, therefore, be it
   1-20        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 74th Texas
   1-21  Legislature hereby officially welcome Ashton Rivers Taylor Drenner
   1-22  as a new citizen of Texas and extend heartfelt congratulations to
   1-23  Mr. and Mrs. Drenner and Representative and Mrs. Howard on the
   1-24  birth of this cherished addition to the family; and, be it further
    2-1        RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared
    2-2  for Ashton Rivers Taylor Drenner, his parents, and his grandparents
    2-3  as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of
    2-4  Representatives.
