The Senate Committee on Local Government will meet Tuesday, October 31st, 2023 at 9:30 AM to hear invited testimony only on the following Special Session agenda item:
· Legislation concerning public safety, security, environmental quality, and property ownership in areas like the Colony Ridge development in Liberty County, Texas.
The committee will not be taking public testimony.
Written testimony:
If you would like to provide written testimony for the committee members, please bring 20 copies with your name on each copy to the Extension Auditorium in E1.004. All written testimony will be distributed to the committee members during or after the hearing by committee staff.
For those wishing to provide written testimony but are unable to appear in person, comments may be provided directly to each committee member, whose contact information can be found at: www.senate.texas.gov or sent directly to marissa.pryor@senate.texas.gov.
