Senator Hinojosa called the meeting to order at 9:07 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

Senator Hinojosa made opening remarks.

The Chair laid out SB 1. Invited testimony was heard on SB 1 – Article II. Witnesses testifying and registering are shown on the attached list.

Senator Huffman assumed the chair.

Senator Hinojosa assumed the chair.

Senator Huffman resumed the chair.

Department of Family and Protective Services

Senator Hinojosa assumed the chair.

Special Provisions Relating to All Health and Human Services Agencies

The Chair moved that testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered.

Senator Hinojosa moved that SB 1 be left pending; without objection, it was so ordered.

There being no further business, at 2:18 PM Senator Huffman moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
