AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the use of certain lighting equipment on motorcycles |
|
|
and mopeds. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 547.306(b), Transportation Code, is |
|
|
amended to read as follows: |
|
|
(b) A person may operate a motorcycle or moped equipped with |
|
|
LED ground effect lighting only if the lighting [that] emits a |
|
|
non-flashing amber or white light, and no other type of light. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
